Adrienne Spell, M.S., M.F.T
Adrienne Spell is a Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and families. She has served clients experiencing a variety of issues, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, coping skills, child-parent relationships, attachment issues, shame, spirituality, and life transitions.
Adrienne believes therapy is a partnership built on authenticity and trust. We heal best in supportive relationships that promote self-growth. Drawing from a variety of treatment modalities, emphasizing relational and attachment-based therapies, Adrienne hopes to provide a space where individuals can gain a deeper understanding of self by exploring thoughts, emotions, and patterns. What we carry forward from past experiences impact us in the present. Through self compassion and acceptance, individuals can find strength and empowerment to unlock healing.
Adrienne received her Masters in Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lee University. While at Lee University Marriage and Family Therapy and Play Therapy Center, her work focused on family therapy and a systems approach, with an emphasis in play therapy, incorporating a variety of child-centered play techniques and modalities in treatment for children. Adrienne has provided therapy in a faith-based setting for the last six years, integrating faith systems and mental health. In this setting, Adrienne specially worked with individuals and families to emphasize empathy and emotion coaching in relationships while promoting healthy attachment.
