Individual Therapy

Individual therapy, often referred to as psychotherapy or talk therapy, offers a personal opportunity to address cares and concerns unique to you from an individualized perspective. Individual counseling is the process through which individuals meet one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

During Individual therapy, the therapist will take a personalized approach as they listen and support you in reaching your therapeutic goals such as managing anger, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage and relationship challenges, parenting challenges, school difficulties, career changes, and more.

Using a variety of skills and techniques, your therapist will provide a supportive and interactive experience that will allow you to process events and emotions in and safe, caring, unbiased, and confidential environment.  Through a collaborative process, your therapist will utilize evidence-based interventions to enable you in making changes in order to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
