Gary Bauman, PhD, LPC, CPCS
Gary has 30 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with relationship, addiction, behavioral and emotional struggles. He is also a frequent presenter of couples and individual therapy workshops and has provided counselor training and clinical supervision for over 200 licensed professional counselors in Georgia. His interest is in helping those who are struggling with a variety of common challenges in life, including relational difficulties, depression, grief, anxiety, and addiction issues. He works mostly with adults and couples, but will occasionally see teenagers or entire families.
He views counseling as a collaborating between the individuals, couples and families and himself to determine better ways for relating and solving problems. He utilizes an Adlerian, cognitive-behavioral and relationship treatment perspectives that best matches the goals that clients with the strengths and resources available to them.
Appointments can be scheduled Wednesday and Friday afternoon and evenings (3pm-9pm) as well as Saturday mornings (9-12). He accepts check and cash payments. He can also do a sliding scale for clients who need that and you may call to inquire about a free phone consultation.
