Jessica Gant Sexton is a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with teens and adults to help them overcome adversity and find their strengths. Jessica understands how hard it can be to talk about emotions and is dedicated to creating a comfortable, safe environment for self discovery.

Jessica specializes in anxiety, grief, parent support, relationship stress, emerging adulthood, neurodiversity, and difficult life transitions (school changes, career changes, marriage, etc.) Jessica believes that with support and guidance we all can connect with our own emotions, self soothe through stress, communicate effectively, and find hope.

Jessica utilizes various therapeutic modalities including Mindfulness techniques,  Jungian talk therapy and Gestalt experiential therapy. As your counselor, Jessica will help you to assess your patterns in order to help gain emotional awareness, self compassion, and empower yourself to overcome whatever is holding you back from optimum well being.

Jessica has now been in private practice since October 2017 working with a variety of ages and mental health concerns; with an emphasis working with clients 12 years and older. Jessica received her Masters of Education in Professional Counseling, Community Counseling from the University of Georgia in 2015. Jessica’s work experience includes: The Tree House Inc, Child Advocacy Center in Winder, Georgia and Avita Community Partners in Demorest, Georgia.

Jessica is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselor Association and the American Association of Counselors.

Jessica is not currently available for work with children or couples.

Jessica is available by appointment only Monday- Friday from 9am to 5pm.
