Kelly Redwine, M.S., LPC
Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults to assist them in achieving a sense of health and wholeness.
Kelly works with clients addressing issues including, but not limited to, trauma, relationship stressors, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, and life transitions such as marriage, divorce, career change, deployment, or relocation. Kelly desires to provide encouragement and support as individuals overcome the hardships of past and present while realizing the strengths and abilities that lie within them.
Kelly utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions and techniques, and her primary philosophy of psychotherapy is an attachment-based approach emphasizing increased resilience and self-awareness. She also uses an integrative approach to address mental, physical, and emotional distress resulting from traumatic experiences.
In addition to her experience in private practice, Kelly has worked as a psychometrician conducting a variety of psychological assessments with children and adolescents. Kelly is also currently employed by Brenau University as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Psychology.
Kelly received her M.S. degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University. Her Master’s thesis is entitled “The Relationship Between Gender and the Disclosure of Child Sexual Abuse” and her internship was completed at Center Point Counseling Center as well as in a private practice setting.
Kelly is in-network with Anthem/BlueCross BlueShield and is able to assist clients in filing for out-of-network benefits with other insurance providers.
